What Does Alhamdulillah Mean?

Alhamdulillah means, “Praise be to God” or “Thank God”. Muslims as well as non-Muslims use this term but in different languages.

So why do we, as Muslims, say Alhamdulillah? We say Alhamdulillah to show our appreciation and gratitude for the creator. Not only should we say it when good things happen in our lives but we also need to say Alhamdulillah when things aren’t going our way. Why? Because it could be worse. Alhamdulillah that we’re in the situation that Allah (swt) has put us in, because there is always worse.
